Recent fic roundup!

tweagueSo I failed to mention on here that I got the most *glorious* and unexpected present from the recent round of Biggles Fandom Airdrop! And I didn't even take part this year because it was just after Christmas and my last minute writing window got utterly written off by stomach flu! I got:
before we're through byysande - gen, 2.8k. oh my *God* ysande wrote me Bertie and Gimlet!!!! I cannot adequately express how much I adored this - it takes a seemingly light premise (a mysterious someone sends Bertie a box of bananas as he's recuperating after 'Sergeant Bigglesworth CID', when he hasn't so much as seen one since 1939), and then proceeds to absolutely *destroy me with feels*. The most gorgeous piece about Gimlet trying to negotiate his way around how absolutely devestated he felt when he heard Bertie had been shot down, and how he didn't like that feeling one little bit. Just. I was overwhelmed.
And here's a quick run down of things I've posted to AO3 recently - two of them have been posted here before, while two are new.

Strange, and still, and sweet - Biggles/von Stalhein, E rated, 2.5k; written for a Smut4Biggles prompt about somnophilia. Definitionally dubcon, but negotiated beforehand and within the context of a loving relationship.
Water Like A Stone - Bertie + Gimlet, Gen, 3.9k. In which I drop Gimlet in a river.
The new fics: or, my Gimlet/Bertie obsession continues to spiral.
Fingers and Thumbs - Gimlet/Bertie, Teen, 3.7k. Gimlet comes back from six weeks of Commando basic training in Scotland and is desperate to tell Bertie all about it.
By This Conquer - Gimlet/Bertie, E rated, 11.4k. Bertie is captured while on a mission with King's Kittens; this ends about as well as you'd expect. Warning for mild violence, though the rating is for the consensual smut/kink: please read the tags for more detail, but primarily cutting, marking, mild bloodplay.
I am trying to kick my brain into writing things that aren't Gimlet/Bertie, but it's really hard work.
