April, 1928: Es liegt in der Luft - G, 9.3k. Lotte nags Algy into taking her to a nightclub, where we run into an OLD FRIEND (such mystery, I have in no way spoiled her identity in the tags.)
NOTE: this chapter is set in 1928; there is a brief run-in with a group of Brownshirts who raid the club. There's also a short discussion between Algy and vS of the sort of dangers and pressures that openly gay people in Berlin society of the time faced or might face. Neither of these are significant focuses of the chapter, but if you'd rather avoid, then avoid. And if you read and think I should have tagged/warned better/differently, then please let me know - I don't want to spoil anyone's day.
And having got the important bit out of the way: next time, sex pollen AU! Possibly. Chronologically, that is the next thing that happens; though I wonder if I should post the actual getting-together chapter first, and the AU chaos bomb afterwards? Will consider.
